Our favorite part of every New Year is not only the opportunity to refocus and set new goals, but it also means the ROCKET TOUR PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP is around the corner!

The 2019 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Tour (PKBGT) Rocket Tour Players Championship will be the seventh playing of the tournament, one of the longest running events in the PKBGT's 11-year history. From Feb. 16 –17, top junior golfers from across the southeast and beyond will head to University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, GA to compete for the championship title. Past champions include Division 1 collegiate golfers, like University of Georgia’s Elisa Yang (2016), Vanderbilt’s Louise Yu (2017) and University of South Carolina’s Skylar Thompson (2018).

The PKBGT’s mission is to ensure the future of the game by providing a "Girls Only Tour" that will actively increase participation and interest in girl's golf. The tour provides a venue for aspiring collegiate golfers in the southeast and affordable, top-level tournament competition and development.

Rocket Tour has been the presenting sponsor of the Players Championship since 2016; designing custom Limited Edition PKBGT knit head covers for all participants for the past three years. Seeing this tournament steadily mature in participation, popularity and exposure since we began has been such a delight. It is so encouraging to see the growth of the game happen before our eyes among these young stars of the game.
